Privacy policy

This policy explains how NekHub (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit nekhub.com or buy from us. By using the site you agree to this policy. It is written with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in mind.

What we collect

• Mobile number — you sign in with your mobile number and a one-time password (OTP). There are no passwords.
• Name and email — optional, if you add them to your profile, so we can address you properly and send order receipts.
• Delivery addresses — name, phone number, address and pincode you save for shipping.
• Order history — what you bought, order value, coupons used, order and delivery status.
• Reviews and wishlist — tees you save and reviews you choose to post (your first name appears with a review).
• Technical data — basic device, browser and request logs needed to keep the site secure and working.

Sign-in with Firebase Authentication

OTP verification is provided by Google Firebase Authentication. When you request an OTP, your mobile number is sent to Firebase so it can deliver the SMS and verify the code, and Google may use reCAPTCHA to prevent abuse. After verification, we keep your number in our own database and create our own sign-in session; we don't keep a separate Firebase session in your browser. See Google's Firebase privacy information.

Payments with Razorpay

Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Your card, UPI, net banking or wallet details are entered on Razorpay's secure checkout and are never sent to or stored on our servers. We only receive a payment reference, the amount, the payment method type (for example “UPI”) and the payment status, which we use to confirm your order and process refunds. How we use your information

• To create and secure your account and keep you signed in
• To process payments, ship orders, handle exchanges and refunds
• To contact you about your order, including by SMS, call or WhatsApp from our team or courier partners
• To prevent fraud and abuse of coupons and offers
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations

We'll only send you marketing messages if you've opted in (for example by joining our WhatsApp drop list), and you can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed with service providers who help us run the store:

• Google Firebase — phone number verification
• Razorpay — payment processing and refunds
• Courier and logistics partners — your name, phone number and delivery address
• Hosting and infrastructure providers who store our data securely
• Government authorities, when required by law

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Cookies and local storage

We use a single essential, secure, HTTP-only cookie to keep you signed in. Your shopping bag and a pincode you've checked are saved in your browser's local storage so they survive a page refresh. We don't use third-party advertising cookies. If you clear your browser storage, your bag will be emptied and you'll need to sign in again.

How long we keep it

We keep account information while your account is active. Order and invoice records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting laws require (typically up to 8 years). After that they are deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You can view and update your profile and saved addresses from your account at any time. You can also ask us to access, correct or erase your personal data, or withdraw consent, by writing to [email protected]. Some order records may need to be retained for legal reasons.

Security

Data is sent over HTTPS, sessions are signed and HTTP-only, and access to customer data is limited to people who need it to fulfil orders. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

Our store is intended for people aged 18 and over. Younger shoppers should order with a parent or guardian.
